Below you can find a brief collection of projects from the past few years, varying in scope and industry, presenting our skills in steel calculation and design, RC calculation and detailing, site engineering and inspection and mechanical projects. POKA3D also has extensive experience in power plant engineering – upgrades, expansions and retrofits as well.

Main client: Canadian Steel Factory
Task: Complete steel detailing according to local standards and construction requirements

Swimming ComplexPrefabricated RC and Steel Structure in Norway
Main client: Norwegian City Council investment
Task: Designing the prefabricated concrete and steel structures of a swimming complex in Norway. The main structures of the building ( walls, deep beams, columns, ramp elements)were made of precast RC. The roof structures were made of prefabricated steel trusses with a maximal span of 34,00m. Other steel structures: HSQ beams, canopy structure. Total building area: appr. 3500m² Project accomplished in 6 months

Tunstead - Cement PlantSteel Project for the Cement and Mining Industry
Main client: Undisclosed - Cement Plant in Great Britain
Task: Fume gas duct and steel support design. Structural calculation from the beginning to the detailed fabrication drawings. Parts of steel support connecting to existing structure, geometry design based on 3D scan data of existing building.
Manpower: 2 Structural engineers 1 TEKLA modeller 2 Inventor modellers

4200 Kvartalet AskhøgdaResidential complex in Norway
Main client: Norwegian real estate developer
Task: Static calculation Structural design of prefab elements (columns, walls, beams, slabs, stairs) and steel parts (columns, beams, bracings) of the central building and the basement. 7000㎡ area, design ready in 6 months

Mining Plant in MexicoSteel Project for the Mining Industry
Main client: Mining Plant in Mexico
Task: Fume gas ducts and steel support design. Structural calculation from the beginning to the detailed fabrication drawings. In high risk seismic zone.

Cement Plant Steel Project for the Cement and Mining Industry
Main client: Cement Plant in Canada
Task: Fume gas duct and steel support design. Structural calculation from the beginning to the detailed fabrication drawings. Imperial system was used.

Pipe support Oil IndustrySteel project

Task: Structural calculation and TEKLA 3D design of the complete pipe rack. Lots of pipe support, cable trays and small details. Steel quantity: 68 tons - very detailed
